As a field of study, Environmental Design encompasses the built, natural, and human environments and focuses on fashioning physical and social interventions informed by human behaviour and environmental processes.

The Faculty of Environmental Design is a Graduate faculty offering advanced degrees in a number of areas, including Architecture, Environmental Design, Environmental Science, Industrial Design, Planning and Urban Design. In addition, in conjunction with the faculty of Graduate Studies, Doctoral studies are also available.
