Nursing (Qatar)

Introduction

The University of Calgary-Qatar offers a flexible, innovative, Bachelor of Nursing (BN) program to prepare
students for the opportunities and challenges of a rewarding nursing
career. Throughout the program, students are provided with a sound theoretical
base and supervised clinical experience in a variety of nursing practice
settings. Students at the Doha, Qatar campus receive the same, internationally
recognized degree as those in Calgary.

who can provide information on your program and course requirements.

Programs

The Faculty of Nursing (Qatar) offers several programs:

  • The Bachelor of Nursing Regular
    Track (BNRT)
    program primarily designed for students entering directly
    from high school.
  • The Bachelor of Nursing
    Accelerated Track (BNAT)
    program intended for students who hold
    a degree with at least 15 full course equivalents (FCE's) from an accredited
    institution recognized by the University of Calgary.
  • The Bachelor of Nursing Post
    Diploma (PDBN)
    program offered to licensed nurses, with an approved
    diploma in nursing, who wish to upgrade their credentials to a baccalaureate
    degree.

To ensure students are successful in their course of study, the University of Calgary-Qatar offers English language proficiency courses, in conjunction with the nursing programs.
