The Institute for US Policy Research (IUSPR) will host an Election Watch party at the Rozsa Centre at the University of Calgary on Tuesday, Nov. 4, from 6 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.
The 2008 Race to the White House event will feature:
Speakers including U.S. Consul General Tom Huffaker, student representatives and experts in the area of U.S. politics
A mock election vote for President of the United States with each guest casting their own ballot
Live television and Internet coverage from a variety of sources throughout the evening
A buffet and cash bar
The IUSPR is in The School of Policy Studies at the U of C.
